Use Cloudflare DNS

To access restricted sites, you could get away with just using secure DNS rather a full blown VPN

Settings > Privacy and Security > Security > Scroll down > Advanced > Use Secure DNS (check) > Select DNS Provider (Cloudflare 1.1.1.1)
